ABOUT
Steve Procyshyn
President
Steve Procyshyn is the president of Platinum Diamond Drilling Inc.
Growing up in a farming community in Manitoba, he established his values of hands on hard work, problem solving and seeing jobs through to completion. Eager to start a career, his first experiences out of school were working in the diamond drilling industry. He progressively advanced his leadership skills and reputation, first as a crew member, later advancing through positions as foreman and operations manager. He was entrusted in increasingly senior positions to contribute to projects worldwide. From his Canadian roots in Manitoba, he expanded his work across Canada, for several years, and was sought out for his expertise to join long term international projects which took him to destinations in Japan, China, Tibet, Chile.
Drawing on his decades of direct industry experience in the field and in management, in 2011, Steve bought his first drill and created Platinum Diamond Drilling Inc. Based in Manitoba, it has grown from a small company to currently owning 6 drills, enabling them to undertake several concurrent projects.
Integrity, Trust, and Respect
The development of strong business relationships are founded on integrity, trust and respect
Integrity, trust and respect stand at the core of our business. These values are central to our entire team in all of our interactions. At Platinum diamond Drilling, the straightforward work ethic comes from the top down. No one is too high up or too important to roll up their sleeves and pitch in to ensure a job is done right. We take pride in our determination to maintain a superior quality of standards in performance and safety.
Safety – Priority 1
Our core values extend not only to our customers, but also include our crew. The safety and wellbeing of our family of employees continues to be priority one. Our crew is made up of expertly trained, skilled drillers that have worked on remote job sites, in rough terrain, and under harsh, unpredictable weather conditions. We have recently partnered with Paul Gosselin, Health and Safety consultant, to introduce a mobile app for our company, to create a leading edge, field to office safety communication tool.

Keeping our rigs, drills, and other equipment in top condition is essential to optimum performance at all levels. We maintain a rigorous equipment maintenance schedule for safety and operation.
First Nations
We gratefully acknowledge that some of our projects are undertaken on land which is traditional territory of First Nations people. We will endeavour to treat the land and surroundings with utmost respect and dignity, and will make every effort to keep interference to a minimum.
We will do our best to support the local communities near our sites, and where possible, attempt to hire required workers locally.
